My Blogger Profile

Do you have a blog? Is your blog profile updated? Do you know how many people view your profile? Possibly a lot more than you realize. I recently switched over to a new Google/Blogger account for a more professional email address, something separate from my personal email, but I didn't bother to update my new Blogger profile. I just realize today I've had 3,700 profile views in the past month since I've switched, and I've had nothing on my profile, not even a link to my lovely website. So there it is, now a fully updated profile. Enjoy.

P.S. Where are these thousands of people coming from? What do I need to do to keep them around?

Wow! That's a lot of profile views in a month. Bravo!

That's a lot of good traffic!
As far as where it's all coming from, you might want to start using Google Analytics. It gathers stats on all your visitors that you can slice and dice different ways. It helped me figure out I was getting some traffic from non-english speaking countries, so I put a Translate widget on my blog and started getting even more European visitors.

Hey man who hosts your website?

Maggie - it is OPP, Other Peoples Pixels. Here's the link... I think this link uses me as a reference, but if they ask for an email it's hellobengaltiger@hotmail.com - http://otherpeoplespixels.com/ref/ceramicerin.com ... you can try it free for two weeks.

Thank you Patricia, & Brian, that's a great tip! I have a sitemeter for the blog, but I never thought to have a translate widget. Thanks :)

Hey! I think I'm one of the random people : ) I found you through Google when I typed in "ceramic blogger." I was trying to find someone who knows how to set up a home-studio that is safe enough to live with...ventilation and silica control, etc...

Since you asked what you should do to keep people around, I would recommend lots of pretty pictures of your work :) Hope it goes well for you!
